What does the treatment feel like?
Palomar Pulse Light systems use a unique long pulse

Will the treatment hurt?
IPL hair removal treatment is tolerated well by almost
everyone. You may experience a feeling similar to a
snapping of a soft rubber band on the skin but most
people do not report this sensation as painful.
Is the treatment safe?
With the IPL parameters well within the control of
the operator, each treatment is customized according
to the individual's skin type and hair, making the treatment
absolutely safe for all skin types.
How many treatments will I need?
The number of treatments
varies depending on the skin type, the body part
being treated, the type of hair (fine
or coarse), and how many hairs are in the active phase
of growth. A better assessment can be made after the
consultation.
Are there any side effects?
Most people will have no side effects. You may experience
temporary redness and mild sunburn like effect that
can last a few hours to a few days.
Am I a candidate for hair removal?
Intense Pulsed Light technology makes it simple to
treat all skin types. However people with uncontrolled
Diabetes, pregnant women or those who are trying to
conceive, people with any viral, bacterial or fungal
infection or people with widespread eczema may be contraindicated
for IPL treatments.
What precautions will I have to take?
You should use a sun block with at least SPF 30 and avoid direct
sunlight, hot tubs and tanning beds until the skin returns
to normal.
What is the cost?
The cost of IPL hair removal depends on the size of
the area being treated. Generally the cost varies anywhere
from between $75 to $700.
